Jordon is an accomplished educator with over 10 years of international school experience in China, specialising in curriculum, literacy development, and inquiry-based pedagogy. He holds a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Sunderland and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Contemporary Media from the University of Wales, Newport—credentials that inform his innovative approach to transdisciplinary learning.

As an Academic Coordinator, he spearheads the design and implementation of the school’s literacy and maths curricula, ensuring alignment with the IB PYP framework while fostering critical thinking and creativity. His expertise extends to reviewing and enhancing the arts programme, where he integrates his fine arts background to cultivate expressive, concept-driven learning. Additionally, he oversees the PYP library as a dynamic learning hub, curating resources that support inquiry, research, and a school-wide culture of reading.

Naa’ilah holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cape Town, alongside a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education). With over a decade immersed in academia, her passion lies in understanding how knowledge shapes our perception of the world — a perspective that fuels her identity as a lifelong learner.

This proactive mindset and relentless pursuit of excellence naturally led her to embrace the pivotal role of IB Coordinator at BKIK. As a certified IB educator, she possesses rich pedagogical expertise and is deeply committed to delivering inquiry-based learning experiences that empower children to question, explore, and connect.

Naa’ilah is known for being exceptionally knowledgeable and AI-savvy, seamlessly integrating modern technology to enhance teaching and learning. She embodies the “heart of sharing,” generously mentoring colleagues and fostering a truly collaborative culture within the school. Her teaching philosophy remains rooted in the belief that “knowledge exists all around us; we must simply create the environment that ignites the flame to seek it.”

Jillian graduated from Sydney University with Bachelor’s Degree in Business English and a Master’s Degree in Accounting. She has 10 years of working experience in kindergartens in both Guangzhou and Australia. She excels in project planning and has spearheaded projects for overseas study and international family programmes.

Jillian joined us at BKIK back in 2018, and has been responsible for parent-school communications, CCA and summer/winter camp coordination.

Aimin, MSc in Computer Application Technology, is a former military instructor and Guangzhou Command staff officer. A founding member of BKIK, he has served for 11 years. Bringing military rigour to management, he oversees safety, catering, health and IT, building a strong shield of protection around the school through steadfast professionalism.

A Kingold veteran of 16 years, Anna holds a degree in Accounting from the Guangdong University of Finance. With 16 years of financial expertise, she is known for her meticulous and responsible approach.

She ensures the school’s fiscal health through precise accounting and cash flow management, providing a stable financial foundation for the entire community.

Head of HR & the Admin Department, Ivy graduated from Jingchu University of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. In the last 6 years, Ivy has been described as someone who works with great efficiency and has a self-driven motivation.

Ivy is good at team-coordination and creating a harmonious and pleasant atmosphere. Ivy is now beginning her fourth year at BKIK where she will continue to dedicate herself in HR & Admin work.
